About the Role
We receive product and ship product through our large, commercial dock. Our Receiving/Material Handler will be the support and backup person to our Shipping & Receiving Manager.
Compensation to be discussed during interview
Unload and Receive shipments of ingredients, packaging materials, etc.
Load Shipments of outgoing products to customers
Build outgoing pallets according to customer specifications
Cycle Count inventory
Restock inventory within each dept. as needed
Work within accounting software to build finished goods
Physical & Mental Requirements
Moderate mental and visual attention to perform manual work, machine operations, set-ups, inspections, and adjustments that require frequent decisions to detect and adjust for a variance from proper operation
Must be able to stand, walk and hear on a regular basis and talk frequently; Repetitive motion of hands and/or wrists is involved; must be able to finger, grasp, handle or feel product and materials. Must be able to reach with arms and/or hands, crouch, bend or kneel.
Must be able to lift, move, push, pull, or otherwise exert in the performance of the job over 10 lbs and up to 50 lbs.
Noise level is moderate.
Works inside where there is heat and protection from weather conditions.
May be exposed to extreme heat when opening ovens or cold temperatures when entering walk-in cooler(s)
Proximity to moving mechanical parts when using the mixer or roller.
A break room is available with a kitchen area and vending machines
