About the Role

We have an immediate opening for an entry-level Sales Associate. This is an excellent opportunity to break into the billion-dollar food industry. We are the largest producer of decorated cookies in North America; our cookies are for sale in major retailers across the United States. As a sales associate, you will quickly learn the ins and outs of working with large, national retailers such as Wegmans, Walmart, Circle K, and 7-Eleven. You are responsible for maintaining all active accounts and assisting in obtaining new business.

Requirements

  • Must have excellent communication skills


  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Must be extremely proficient in software packages (Microsoft excel (can perform complex functions) and PowerPoint) and a quick learner when it comes to new software.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Travel 20%


*Compensation based on experience

Physical & Mental Requirements

  • Manages and cultivates current wholesale accounts to increase sales and offer new products


  • Uses contacts, leads, and networking to develop new customer accounts

  • Manages broker groups and provides them with the support and direction they need to successfully sell our products

  • Works with graphics department to develop sales presentations, sell sheets, etc.

  • Attends national trade shows and participates in the setup and tear down of our booth

  • Manages all sales/customer dataSets up templates for all new customer paperwork based on vendor compliance manuals to include inner/master pack labels, packing slips, labels, etc. Import files for multiple direct shipments, invoicing etc.

  • Keeps current on both industry trends and new product offerings

  • Serves as the liaison between customers and our product and operations managers.

  • Coordinates activation for a network of broker groups; Sets up new groups, answers questions, and provides sample sales kits to broker groups to extend the company's sales function.
